FILELESS MALWARE

Malicious software, or malware, is dangerous software that infects your PC, often opening back doors for hackers to take control of the system. Infection happens when the user opens a file sent to their PC. But now, there is a new threat coming down the wires. Fileless malware doesn’t live as a file on your hard drive where it’s easily found by virus scanners. Instead, it hides in your computer's registry (the code your PC uses to start up), or in your RAM (system memory), which makes it harder to detect.
