CPN (UML) leading in Kathmandu Metropolitan City
KATHMANDU - The CPN (UML) has been leading the vote count of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, as of 10:00 pm.
CPN (UML) Mayoral candidate Bidya Sundar Shakya is leading with 2,052 votes while his closest rival Raju Raj Joshi of the Nepali Congress has received 1,180 votes.
Similarly, Ranju Neupane of Bibekshil Nepali Party is in the third position with 892 votes while Kishor Thapa of Sajha Party has got only 641 votes.
Similarly, Deputy Mayor candidate of the Nepali Congress, Hari Prabha Khadgi, has received 1,554 votes while Rajram Shrestha of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party got 1,258 votes, said Chief Returning Officer, Dipendra Adhikari. A total of 5,936 votes
A total of 5,936 votes is counted so far.
