Diarrhoea claims 1 in Dolakha, 12 taken ill

DOLAKHA: A person died of diarrhoea and other 12 were taken ill at Simigaun of Gaurishankar Rural Municipality-9 in Dolakha district on Sunday.


Tenji Sherpa (79) of Simi Gaun in the district lost his life to diarrhoea while three are in a critical condition, informed Mingma Nuri Sherpa, a local.


“A team of healthcare providers have been dispatched with necessary medicines to the village after receiving the news of death there, said Chief District Officer in Dolakha, Laxman Bikram Thapa.
