NC completes candidates' registration for first phase of local polls
The largest party - Nepali Congress - has completed the registration of all its candidates in all tiers of the local level for the upcoming local polls.
NC Central Office issued a statement Tuesday night stating that the candidates' registration in all local levels has been completed.
"Nepali Congress has registered candidacies in all local levels in 34 districts," the statement reads.
In the elections taking place in 34 districts of three provinces under the first phase of local polls, the party said it is taking part in local polls being conducted in four metropolitan cities, one sub-metropolis, 92 municipalities and 186 village councils.
